Dust collectors are divided into the following five categories according to their working principles
Filter dust collectors include bag dust collectors and granular layer dust collectors, etc.
Electrostatic precipitators.
Magnetic dust collector.
According to the dust removal method, the dust collector is divided into:
(1) Dry dust collector.
(2) Semi-dry dust collector.
(3) Wet dust collector
At present, electric bag composite dust collector and bag dust collector are mostly used in industry.
Electric bag composite dust removal technology:
The electric bag composite dust collector is in a box with a short electric field installed at the front end and a filter bag field installed at the rear end. The smoke and dust are introduced from the left end and first pass through the electric field area. The dust particles are charged in the electric field area and 80%~90% of the dust is discharged. Collect it. (Give full play to the advantages of electrostatic precipitator and reduce the load of bag field). The part of the flue gas that has passed through the electric field enters the bag area after passing through the electric field area, and enters the inner cavity of the filter bag through the outer surface of the filter bag. . The electric bag composite dust collector combines the advantages of the electric dust collector and the pure cloth bag dust collector. It is a new generation of dust removal technology. At present, there are nearly 200 electric bag composite dust collectors in use in China.
Bag type (cloth bag) dust removal technology:
Definition: A technology that uses filter bags to filter and remove dust.
Material of filter bag: natural fiber, chemical synthetic fiber, glass fiber, metal fiber.
Form: the gas flows from the outside of the filter bag to the inside, and the dust is on the outer surface of the filter bag
The gas flows from the inside to the outside of the filter bag, and the dust is on the inner surface of the filter bag
Dust collector selection basis:
Handling air volume (Q)
The processing air volume refers to the volume of gas that the dust removal equipment can purify in a unit time. The unit is cubic meters per hour (m3/h) or standard cubic meters per hour (Nm3/h). It is one of the most important factors in the design of bag filter.
When designing or selecting a bag filter according to the air volume, it is generally not allowed to operate the dust collector under the condition of exceeding the specified air volume, otherwise, the filter bag will be easily blocked, the service life will be shortened, the pressure loss will increase greatly, and the dust removal efficiency will also decrease; but it cannot If the air volume is selected too large, the equipment investment and floor area will be increased, and resources will be wasted, which will not save energy. Reasonable selection of air volume is often determined according to process conditions and experience.
Operating temperature (°C)
For the bag filter, its operating temperature depends on two factors, the first is the maximum withstand temperature of the filter material, and the second is that the gas temperature must be above the dew point temperature. At present, due to the large selection of glass fiber filter materials, the maximum operating temperature can reach 280°C. Measures must be taken to cool down the gas above this temperature, and temperature-raising measures must be taken to the gas below the dew point temperature. For the bag filter, the relationship between the operating temperature and the dust removal efficiency is not obvious, which is different from the electrostatic precipitator. For the electrostatic precipitator, the change of temperature will affect the specific resistance of the dust and affect the dust removal efficiency.
Inlet dust concentration (g/m³)
That is, the inlet dust concentration, which is determined by the process of the dust point. When designing or selecting a bag filter, it is another important factor next to the air volume. Expressed in g/m3 or g/Nm3.
For the bag filter, the inlet dust concentration will directly affect the following factors:
⑴Pressure loss and cleaning cycle. As the inlet concentration increases, the speed of ash accumulation on the same filter area is fast, and the pressure loss increases accordingly. As a result, the number of ash cleaning has to be increased.
⑵Wearing of filter bags and boxes. In the case of strong abrasiveness of dust, the wear amount can be considered to be proportional to the dust concentration.
⑶ Is it necessary to pre-collect dust? Pre-dust collection is to add another stage of dust removal equipment before the entrance of the dust collector, also known as pre-stage dust removal.
⑷The ash discharge capacity of the ash discharge device. The ash discharge capacity of the ash discharge device should be based on the ability to discharge all the received dust, and the dust volume is equal to the inlet dust concentration multiplied by the processing air volume.
⑸Operation mode. The bag filter is divided into two operation modes: positive pressure and negative pressure. In order to reduce the wear of the fan, the positive pressure operation mode should not be used if the inlet concentration is large.
Dust concentration at outlet (g/m³)
The dust concentration at the outlet refers to the emission concentration of the dust collector. The expression method is the same as the dust concentration at the inlet. The dust concentration at the outlet should be based on the local environmental protection requirements or the requirements of the user. The emission concentration of the bag filter can generally reach 50mg/ Below Nm3.
